Located on Ocean Walk on Fire Island Pines, the house is designed on the foot print of an existing building, it faces directly to the ocean and beach. All three en suite bedrooms have ocean views, as does the large open plan living/dining/kitchen.

One of the design objectives was to give the house privacy and focus the inhabitants on the view of the ocean. The elevation of the house is significantly higher than the walk and has limited fenestration. As a visitor climbs the steps to the entrance the ocean become visible and when entering the house opens up completely to a panoramic view of the living space, deck and ocean. The house has a roof top deck with a hot tub, the deck has views down the beach and back across the island towards Long Island. The roof deck is a great place to watch the sunset over the is;and and Great South Bay
